Well, i suppose i generalize too much Mike, and your that 1% that uses your car for autox/RR'ing and what not. Most i know are just some "hey look at me and how much i spent" people, or even worse, dont use their car for anything other than some sad streetracing BS.

But i think you understood what i was saying to begin with

Hope is in the air. And I thought I'd have to wait for TIME and MILEAGE to blow my motor! Now I can do it the old fashioned way. . . too much power!

I hope this thing is legit. I don't think I could stand having my heart broken again.

I noticed that he dynoed on VaperTrails dyno located in Tampa.....

That is about a 6 hour drive from my town! I might be heading down there on May 22, so I might give them a call and stop by on my way there.

Damn, now I'm all excited about possibly getting my setup intercooled and breaking the 300whp mark easily then

Man, I REALLY want to see one of these systems work... and work well.
Unfortunately, my "Skeptic" side noticed a few details on the posted dyno graph that I find suspicious: First, the HP/Torque figures are not corrected values... how does "Actual" and "SAE" compare ??? Second, the horizontal graph is NOT a RPM scale, but rather a MPH scale !!! This means that the pull was made in THIRD gear... which could skew the HP/Torque values because a 1:1 drive gear was not selected.

In any event, I have E-mailed John... and I anxiously await his reply.

Good eyes Jim,

I think its a little sketchy that the guy is making 250+whp at 8psi without the IC and untuned at that??

anyway, let the skeptics be proven otherwise

I thought he was making 250+ whp at 8 psi because he's an LSVtec? I have some data sheets that he emailed me (really just word documents with some info) regarding some temperature readings (I assume) that he got. I have no idea how these temp. readings were reached, but I'll post them tonite. As you can see, I REALLY wanna believe...

I think the pull without the intercooler was at 10psi and the reason that the ic setup was at 8psi is due to the loss through the ic. He also did not say that the 250hp run was untuned only that the run with the i.c was untuned due to his belt on his charger breaking. my car has the exact same setup w/o the intercooler and my numbers were almost identical.

another strang thing about this is I have heard that the manifold is $1100 and that the hoses oil cooler and pump are an extra $250. Now with that said you all know that I have been doing the intercooled thing for a while now. My pump alone from spearco was almost $200, and the fluidyne front mount intercooler was $500. hoses were nothing. 2 Earl's fittings were $75 a piece. My water resivour was a greddy catch can turned upside down $90 or more. So how can they sell tha kit for an estimated $1350. I used to use a tube and fin oil cooler to cool down the water but it was very inefficient. the water temp would just climb. now with that said I also used a small pump which was 2.2 GPM and it also proved to be too small. the new pump puts out 15GPM which is what spearco recomended. I just wish I had some money or backing to tune this thing and show everybody some numbers. Oh well I guess!!! I still think that our kit is very impressive as far as what it has done for my car. My opinion
